White-label softphone

BYOD SIP: your branded app, plus any SIP device you bring

Most white-label softphones only support their own app. Spanvox also lets your customers register any standards-compliant SIP device, desk phones, ATAs and third-party softphones, on the same account and the same bridge to your PBX.

  • Standard digest auth
  • Desk phones + ATAs
  • App + BYOD on one account
  • TLS / SRTP
Not just our app

One account, every kind of phone

A real differentiator for providers whose customers run mixed hardware, not only a mobile app.

Any SIP endpoint

Register Yealink and Grandstream desk phones, ATAs and third-party SIP softphones with ordinary digest authentication. No custom firmware required.

App and hardware together

A user can ring on a desk phone, an ATA and your branded mobile app at once, all on the same account and all under your brand.

Per-tenant isolation

Per-tenant SIP domains keep every customer’s BYOD endpoints cleanly separated, so you can serve mixed-hardware fleets at scale.

Every BYOD endpoint rides the same registration bridge as the app, so it reaches your existing PBX with no trunk, no dialplan change and no firewall edit, encrypted over TLS and SRTP.

FAQ

BYOD SIP, answered

What is BYOD SIP?

Bring Your Own Device SIP lets customers register their existing SIP hardware, such as Yealink or Grandstream desk phones, ATAs and third-party softphones, to your service using standard SIP digest authentication, instead of being locked to one vendor app.

Can I use desk phones and the mobile app on the same account?

Yes. Spanvox supports your branded mobile app and pure-SIP BYOD endpoints together, so a user can ring on a desk phone, an ATA and the app at once, all under your brand.

Does it support standard SIP digest authentication?

Yes. BYOD endpoints register with ordinary SIP digest auth, so any standards-compliant SIP phone or softphone can connect without custom firmware.

How is BYOD different from other white-label softphones?

Most white-label products only ship their own app. Spanvox bridges both the app and any registered SIP endpoint, which is a genuine differentiator for providers whose customers run mixed hardware.

Is BYOD SIP secure?

Yes. Registrations and media run over TLS and SRTP, reaching Spanvox over 443, so BYOD endpoints stay encrypted and work behind corporate firewalls.

Does BYOD still bridge to my existing PBX?

Yes. BYOD endpoints ride the same registration bridge as the app, so they connect to your existing PBX with no SIP trunk, no dialplan change and no firewall edit.
